With heavy hearts, we humbly submit to the Lord’s divine authority as we honor the transition of Our Beloved Suffragan Bishop Ernesto Augusto into eternal glory.

 

On behalf of the 45th Episcopal District of The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. and our Executive Board, we extend our deepest condolences to District Elder Victor & Dr. Ana Augusto and The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ Family.

 

We acknowledge the perfect and sovereign will of God, recognizing Our Beloved Suffragan Bishop Ernesto Augusto is now at rest in the loving embrace of His Savior, having made his triumphant transition into glory.

 

Suffragan Bishop Ernesto Augusto was a man of wisdom and hospitality. A Founding Member of Philippines District Council along with Bishop William C. Smith and help in the formation of The 45th Episcopal Diocese, Southern Philippines District Council. A leader and a founding father of many churches throughout the Cebu area.  He is celebrated, mourned, and honored by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

We hold fast to the eternal hope of reuniting with him in his glorified body – a state free from sickness, age, and earthly troubles – as we await the soon coming of the Lord. In this hope, all who loved and knew The Beloved Suffragan Bishop Ernesto Augusto can find solace, peace, and comfort.
